PENDAMPINGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM PENCEGAHAN PERNIKAHAN USIA DINI KABUPATEN NUNUKAN

Abstract

Child marriage is a form of gender-based violence that occurs in communities and has a complex impact on human resources. Child marriage violence disrupts the process of child development. Nunukan Regency is one of the districts of North Kalimantan Province, located at the northern tip of Kalimantan Island and directly adjacent to the State of Malaysia.  Although Nunukan Regency has a strategic geographical location, it has not yet made a major contribution to improving the welfare and quality of life of women and children in the border area. From the problems obtained, the strategy provided is to provide parenting assistance to parents of students in Nunukan Regency with the aim of providing knowledge to parents about the importance of education for children, the high risk of child marriage, developing positive communication skills, and knowledge to prevent child marriage. This assistance can provide knowledge about parenting to parents in Nunukan Regency. Keywords: Mentoring, Parenting, Early Marriage
