  2. Rejected: Papers are rejected before entering the peer review stage.
  3. Accepted to be reviewed by the reviewers
  • Reviewing process and releasing recommendations

This process will take some time. It depends on the quality and the availability of reviewers. After the review process is complete, the reviewer usually makes recommendations to the editor in the form of the following:

  1. Reject the paper
  2. Accept the paper
  3. Recommend some major or minor revisions
  • Revision

In this process, the paper will be returned to the author for revision. The revision process can be repeated until the editor can decide whether to accept or reject the paper.

  • Further review

Editors can ask peer reviewers to review the author's revised results. This is to ensure that the comments provided by the editor have been modified and resolved. After the peer review provides recommendations from the revised results, the editor will release the final decision on the paper's acceptance.
